Kylie Jenner Launches New Swimwear Line: What we can learn from her promotional strategy.


Kylie Jenner has come out with a swimwear line, yet will it be as good as her skincare and cosmetics line? We know that she has made good choices with her fashion based on her Instagram. So, a swimwear line should be something that is noticeable and fun, just like her other products. Her sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian also have experience in the fashion department, so she has two people she can ask for advice if needed. Will she be able to pull off this swimwear line?


This blog post will discuss what we can learn from her promotional strategy with her new swim line coming out. I believe that Kylie Jenner's promotional strategy is something that PRSSA Long Beach Members can learn from because we are college students. If an individual is looking to participate in the marketing field, it is essential to know the proper steps in order to build that influencer marketing product.


The reason I believe this topic is important is that makeup and fashion have two different marketing strategies. Not everyone wears makeup, and by creating this swim line, she can have a bigger audience. However, how will she create a swim line where it is as popular as her makeup line.


One promotional strategy is that Kylie Jenner has created a big brand for herself. To the point where anything, has her name connected to the products individuals is going to get excited about it. Her brand shows the side of a woman who wants to be an entrepreneur and create her products and have her own money. Her makeup kit was something that she created due to the insecurities that she had to deal with when she was younger. Her brand is a connection to her story, and that is what makes it stand out. At this point, Kylie Jenner is broadening her horizons. It is not her just making makeup because she was bored and had nothing to do. Due to her struggles, she decided she wanted to help other people who had those same insecurities.


Another promotional strategy that students can learn is that she always creates products that she is interested in. Kylie Jenner does not create products that she has not used or is not interested in. That is why her swimsuit line would be good because she wears swimsuits and enjoys wearing swimsuits.



Kylie Jenner has created a makeup line and a skincare line that was a success, and she was able to influence some of her sisters to create something similar, for example, Kim Kardashian with her skincare line. I believe that Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian influenced her because she witnessed them doing their clothing line, for example, Kim Kardashian activewear and Khloe Kardashian creating jeans for audiences., That has inspired her to do more than makeup.

Kylie Jenner having that support system, I believe it contributes to her promotional strategy. She can see what her sisters are doing to see if their product is a success. She can learn from witnessing and learn from their mistakes, so when she does create this swim line, she knows the dos and the don'ts.


Kylie Jenner has utilized her social media with her products to the point that they have their own social media page. Her product page is like a bit of a website to showcase the new products and get the audience excited about the new products. Kyle Jenner's audience does not need to go on the website to look at the new items because they are already on the customer's social media feed. While also going on her Instagram, you can see that she showcases her outfits, including her wearing swimsuits. Nevertheless, selling swimsuits and taking pictures in swimsuits is not the same. Typically, because her swim line will only be something you can wear in the summertime unless you live in California, I believe that she can still focus. Her makeup and skincare line and the swim line will not take up most of her time. She is also testing the swim line out ahead of time in the fall rather than waiting until the summer to start selling her two pieces and one-pieces. It is like a test run.


Kylie Jenner's promotional strategy has grown since she started her makeup line, and it is still growing. Her utilizing her social media, having the right team and support system created products that interest her. The swim line may not be a massive success in the beginning yet. She can see what she needs to fix ahead of time to create a swim line that would be a massive seller like her makeup and skincare line.
